Dr Savitha Prakash

Dr Prakash completed her higher Psychiatric training in the South East Scotland psychiatric training Scheme from NHS Lothian Trust in Edinburgh. She is a member of Royal College of Psychiatrists and is approved under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act. She completed her MBA from the prestigious Bradford University and holds a Diploma in Diabetes from South Wales University. She also holds a post graduate certificate in Psychiatry from Cardiff University.

Dr Prakash has over 19 years’ experience within the NHS working in various clinical positions in the Child and Adolescent mental health team, CAMHS Eating disorder services, Adult Community Assessment and Recovery Teams, Acute Inpatient Services and designed and led an innovative and successful new Psychiatric Decisions Unit.  She is currently working in Ealing CAMHS at West London NHS Trust. She has vast experience in diagnosis, treatment and management of a variety of mental illnesses such as ADHD, Autism, depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar affective disorder, psychotic disorders, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder and personality disorders.
