My name is David Thompson. For the last five years, I’ve been sleeping under a bridge in London, surviving on whatever food I could find. Life was a constant struggle, and I had almost lost hope—until I met the volunteers from Human Care Trust. They not only provided me with warm meals and clothing, but they also took the time to talk to me, understand my struggles, and guide me towards available resources. They helped me get my identification documents in order, which was a major obstacle in finding employment. Thanks to their support, I was able to secure a job as a warehouse assistant. It’s not just about earning money—it’s about reclaiming my dignity and rebuilding my future. I am saving up for my own flat now, something I never thought possible. I will always be grateful for their kindness and the second chance they gave me.

I’m Sarah Collins, and I never thought I would find myself homeless. I had a stable job, a small apartment, and a normal life—until a family crisis left me financially drained. One misfortune led to another, and soon, I found myself sleeping on a park bench, scared and alone. Every day was a fight to stay warm, to find food, and to stay safe. Then, Human Care Trust found me and changed my life. They didn’t just give me temporary accommodation; they provided emotional support and helped me access mental health services. I also attended their skills training program, which boosted my confidence and prepared me for new job opportunities. Now, I live in a small apartment of my own, working as an office assistant. I am rebuilding my life one step at a time, and I finally feel hopeful again.

My name is Michael Reed. I had worked as a mechanic for years until an accident left me unable to continue my job. With no savings and no support, I lost my home and ended up on the streets. Each day was a struggle to find food and shelter, and I slowly lost all hope. One evening, a volunteer from Human Care Trust approached me with a warm meal and a listening ear. That moment was the start of my journey back to stability. They connected me with local shelters, helped me apply for government benefits, and guided me towards a vocational training program. Now, I work part-time at an auto repair shop and am working towards becoming financially independent again. Without their help, I don’t know where I’d be today.
