A Second Chance at Life

My name is Michael Reed. I had worked as a mechanic for years until an accident left me unable to continue my job. With no savings and no support, I lost my home and ended up on the streets. Each day was a struggle to find food and shelter, and I slowly lost all hope. One evening, a volunteer from Human Care Trust approached me with a warm meal and a listening ear. That moment was the start of my journey back to stability. They connected me with local shelters, helped me apply for government benefits, and guided me towards a vocational training program. Now, I work part-time at an auto repair shop and am working towards becoming financially independent again. Without their help, I don’t know where I’d be today.
