Overcoming Addiction and Finding Hope

I’m Jake Stevenson, and my struggle with addiction led me to lose everything—my job, my family, and my home. For years, I wandered the streets, caught in a vicious cycle of hunger, loneliness, and substance abuse. Living on the streets, I felt like there was no way out. Human Care Trust changed that. They didn’t just offer me food and warm clothes; they guided me towards a rehab program and gave me the encouragement I needed to make a change. With their support, I completed a recovery program and found a job at a small café. It’s been six months since I turned my life around, and I owe my second chance to them.
